A bit about
Isla & Fraser...
Based in the British Countryside, we are Simon and Rebecca, the husband and wife team behind Isla & Fraser, creating exceptionally soft, 100% organic cotton baby knits.
Named after our twin children, family values are woven into the fabric of our organic baby brand, with our designs and brand ethos deeply rooted in nature.
Inventing by way of necessity, we created Isla & Fraser from our experience as parents. Our son has extremely sensitive skin and everything he came into contact with seemed to cause a rash so we began a process to overhaul everything he touched and check the labels more closely for what we were using. Sure enough, once we switched to 100% organic products, the rashes soon disappeared.
Our biggest frustration came when searching for suitable baby blankets. We wanted breathable and safe options without having to compromise on beautiful design. We also wanted them to be the softest thing our babies’ delicate skin could possibly touch: warm yet breathable, thermoregulating, easy to wash, and most importantly that they were made from organic cotton - containing no irritating chemicals or nasty pesticides.
Yet we couldn't find a product that ticked all of these boxes. We didn't want to have to compromise on any of these factors so, using Rebecca's extensive knitwear design and sustainability background, we set about creating products that ticked every box - combining functionality, softness and style.
We started with just two baby blankets and very soon received countless requests for more so we expanded our range into baby clothing and comforters and we haven't look back since.
We will always be
100% Organic
Every item in our shop is knitted with Organic Cotton. Our organic cotton and the dyes we use are Oekotex and GOTS certified and you do not need to wash our products prior to use as they have not been made with, or come into contact with, any harmful chemicals or pesticides.
We believe in the detail: from our buttons to our labels, it is all Oekotex certified and independently tested.
To become GOTS certified you have to meet a set of exacting quality standards. So when you see this little green label on every one of our products you can be confident that they have been made responsibly and fairly.
We are passionate about being a climate positive organisation and to date we have planted over 17,000 trees with Ecologi. You can check out our forest and gift more trees here.

Our Core Values
We believe in leaving the planet in a better place for our children. We are committed to always being a 100% organic brand and all of our packaging will always be 100% recyclable or biodegradable.
The quality and safety of our products is paramount to us, which is why we will only work with the very best manufacturers who share the same commitment. Our products are responsibly manufactured in China, and are independently tested by the world's leading inspection and certification organization. Our factory's knitting capability is, in our opinion, the best in the world (as Rebecca has partnered with them to create knitwear together for over a decade), resulting in truly beautiful craftsmanship, bringing to life our intricate and unique designs that are made to last.
All of our knits are independently tested and certified. Our comforters are stuffed with 100% GRS certified recycled polyester and are tested and certified to EN71 toy safety standards.
We are extremely proud to have won over 20 industry awards for our knits.

We have partnered with the very talented The Little Worne Store to make our blankets even more special by adding custom personalisation.
You can add any scalloped edge blanket colour + any embroidery colour + your baby name to create your own beautifully bespoke item.
Each blanket is hand embroidered in the UK.

Isla & Fraser was built from a love of striving to create the very best possible: we believe in doing one thing really, really well.
We create small batches of heirloom pieces in organic materials that are made to last and can be passed down through generations. Each product is design registered and hand sketched from scratch by Rebecca and this love of quality design and sustainable manufacturing will always be at the heart of everything we do.
